(1S,2R,7S)-Sitafloxacin has inhibitory activity against Escherichia coli DNA gyrase (IC50 0.18 μg/mL) and Staphylococcus aureus topoisomerase IV. (1S,2R,7S)-Sitafloxacin has antibacterial activity and can be used in the study of various bacterial infections.

Providing storage is as stated on the product vial and the vial is kept tightly sealed, the product can be stored for up to 24 months.
