Description:

RCM-1 (FOXM1 inhibitor RCM-1) is a nontoxic, small molecule that inhibits FOXM1 activity in vitro and in vivo, inhibits GFP-FOXM1 in U2OS cells with EC50 of 0.72 uM; prevents goblet cell metaplasia, decreases lung inflammation, and inhibits airway hyperresponsiveness in response to HDM or recombinant IL-13; reduces IL-13 and STAT6 signaling and prevents the expression of the STAT6 target genes Spdef and Foxa3 in cultured airway epithelial cells and in mice; RCM-1 is an inhibitor of goblet cell metaplasia and IL-13 signaling.
