ERD03 (EXOSC3-RNA disrupting compound 3) is a small molecule EXOSC3-RNA disrupting (ERD) compound that binds specifically to EXOSC3 (Kd=17 uM), induces a PCH1B-like phenotype in zebrafish; recapitulates EXOSC3 knock-down effects on RNA transcriptomic profiles in zebrafish; induces an atrophy of the zebrafish cerebellum, a clinical feature of PCH1B, also induces modification of zebrafish RNA expression levels similar to that observed with a morpholino against EXOSC3.
