Description:

GGTI-2147 is a non-thiol peptidomimetic that inhibits GGTase I and blocks geranyl-geranylation of Rap1A (IC50=0.5 uM); inhibits glucose- and KCl-induced insulin secretion; inhibits Rac1 geranylgeranylation, down-regulates the expression of p65, and ameliorated the OGD/R-induced neuronal apoptosis.
