Description:

Irdabisant (CEP-26401) is a potent, selective, orally active histamine H3 receptor antagonist with Ki of 2 nM and 7 nM for human and rat H3Rs, respectivity; displays >1,000-fold selectivity over the H1R, H2R, and hH4R subtypes; dose-dependently inhibits H3R agonist-induced dipsogenia in the rat (ED50=0.06 mg/kg po); exhibits cognition-enhancing and wake-promoting activities in mice.
