Description:

A potent, highly selective monoacylglycerol lipase (MAGL) with IC50 of <0.4 nM against human and rodent MAGL; exhibits extremely high potency in inhibiting MAGL in the brain and peripheral tissues and maintains good selectivity over other serine hydrolases; remarkably increases mouse brain 2-AG levels without affecting AEA levels, induces antinociception and dose-dependent hypomotility and hypothermia but no catalepsy in vivo.
