Description:

A small molecule inhibitor of RNA binding protein Lin28 that blocks the Lin28/let-7 interaction, rescues let-7 processing and function in Lin28-expressing cancer cells; inhibits Lin28A from pre-let-7a-2 binding at IC50 of 8 uM; induces differentiation of mouse embryonic stem cells, and reduces tumor-sphere formation by 22Rv1 and Huh7 cells; inhibits proliferation and stem-like properties in human cancer cells (22Rv1, PC3, DU145, and Huh7) with GI50 of 20-80 uM.
