Description:

E-5842 is a preferential sigma-1 receptor ligand, demonstrates potential atypical antipsychotic effects in vivo; increases phospholipase C (PLC) activity in the striatum and the hippocampus, increased levels of Fos in the medial prefrontal cortex and the nucleus accumbens in rat forebrain.
