GS 462808 is a potent Late INa current inhibitor with IC50 of 1.33 uM; has lower brain penetration and serendipitously lower activity at the brain isoforms, and improved CNS window (>20 rat and dog) relative to GS-458967; shows improved anti-ischemic potency relative to ranolazine.
