Description:

IPI-9119 (IPI9119) is a potent, selective, and irreversible inhibitor of fatty acid synthase (FASN) with IC50 of 0.3 nM in biochemical assays; inhibits PCa cell growth and induces cell cycle arrest and apoptosis, induces a profound metabolic reprogramming in PCa cells; also inhibits AR-FL and AR-V7 protein expression and induces ER stress response and protein translation inhibition, inhibits AR transcriptional activity and enhances enzalutamide efficacy in CRPC cells; inhibits tumor growth of CRPC xenografts and human mCRPC-derived organoids.
