Description:

3-Ethoxy-5,6-dibromosalicylaldehyde is a potent and selective inhibitor of IRE1 endoribonuclease with IC50 of 0.12 uM; binds to IRE1 in a specific, reversible and dose-dependent manner and inhibits XBP-1 splicing induced pharmacologically in human cells; shows no inhibitory activity for RNases A, T1, or L.
