Description:

NCT-502 is a small molecule 3-phosphoglycerate dehydrogenase (PHGDH) inhibitor (IC50=3.7 uM) that reduces the production of glucose-derived serine in cells and suppress the growth of PHGDH-dependent cancer cells; decreases intracellular serine and glycine concentrations in MDA-MB-231 cells, also reduces the PSAT1-catalyzed production of M+5-α-ketoglutarate.
