Description:

Spiropiperidine 1 (SPP1)i s a potent, functionally selective and brain penetrant M1 orthosteric agonist with Ki of 21.3 nM for hM1 receptors; stimulates Gq mediated GTPγ[35S] signaling with IC50 of 12.3 nM, stimulates Gq mediated signaling in membranes prepared from rat cortex with EC50 of 21 nM; displays high functional selectivity for M1 receptors over native M2 and M3 receptor anti-targets and over a panel of other targets.
