Description:

A potent, selective, orally available GPR40 agonist with EC50 of 3.7 nM; shows no PPARγ agonistic activity up to 100 uM, and exhibits >100-fold selectivity over 68 other diverse receptors, ion channels and transporters; has potent glucose lowering effects during an oral glucose tolerance test in ZDF rats.
