Description:

RSV inhibitor compound 1 is a novel potent, orally bioavailable RSV fusion inhibitor with EC50 of 2 nM (RSV Long strain infected HEp-2 cells) without significant cytotoxicity (CC50>100 uM); demonstrats single-digit nM anti-RSV activity against different RSV strains (RSV A2, RSV B with EC50 of 4 and 2 nM); also displays 1 log viral reduction in a female BALB/c mice RSV model by b.i.d. oral dosing at 12.5 mg/kg.
