Description: A potent, selective dopamine D4 receptor agonist with Ki of 12.1 and 7.9 nM for rat and human D4 receptors, respectively; displays excellent selectivity profile for other dopamine receptors or a panel of 70 different receptors and channels (Ki>1 uM); fully activates rat D4 receptor at 28.4 nM, does not activate rat dopamine D2L; induces penile erection in a conscious rat model with comparable efficacy as the nonselective D2-like agonist, apomorphine; also improves cognitive performance and stimulates motor activity without influencing reward-related behaviour in rats.
